Compare 3 Mobile Operating System

1. Android

Android is a Linux-based operating system for mobile phones such as smart phones and tablet computers. Android provides an open platform for developers to create their own applications for use by a variety of mobile devices. I have a cell phone samsung android mini of course. I prefer android than iOS or Blackberry, because I think Android is the operating system has many advantages and features, as well as today's most sophisticated, although many people prefer the IOS than android. There are several versions of Android, that is Android version 1.1, Android version 1.5 (Cupcake), Android version 1.6 (Donut), Android Version 2.0/2.1 (Eclair), Android version 2.2 (Froyo: Frozen Yogurt), Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread), Android version 3.0 (Honeycomb), Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream), Android Version Next -> (Jellybean).

Android advantages:
Android classified as a flexible system. Users can combine Apps, folders, and widgets with one another and other interfaces to download in the Android market. Info bar was useful for the user, for example, to find the active application. Relatively fast browser, including when opening a website with flash.  Interestingly, the user can cancel the purchase paid applications and get back his money. Condition, cancellations made within 15 minutes after the transaction. App can communicate with each other and using the contacts and schedules. Sense the presence of interfaces and tools sync the HTC suggesting positive.

Disavantages of Android:
Compared with the IOS, Android still less intuitive. Users still need time to find some system options and third-party file manager. In addition to the search function is less accurate, many also found the application "garbage" is less useful. Last without a credit card there is a free application. Potential buyers also need to be careful because there are still some Android 1.6 smartphone on the market and not offer an official update from the manufacturer.

2. IOS

IOS is known as the iPhone OS before June 2010 is a mobile operating system of Apple. IOS was originally developed for the iPhone, since it has been extended to support other Apple devices, like iPod Touch, iPad and Apple TV.

IOS is the iPhone advantages superior because it is easy to use system and its third-party applications that are always consistent with Apple. Is also positive is a grouping of applications in a single folder for easy management.Apple made a big improvement is a system that supports multitasking, although still limited. Through iTunes, iPhone is increasingly easy to manage, for example to perform data synchronization, backup and apps in the App Store search which is still the largest and most comprehensive.
IOS is a known weakness even as a user-friendly smartphone that advantage thanks to its interface, the iPhone is less flexible in making certain adjustments to the user. Users will experience obstacles in replacing the standard applications and manage their data on the smartphone.Users can not even go around bundles of data in a folder. Interconnection between iTunes users are also troublesome. Apple designed the iPhone does not seem to do the exchange song or Movie clip with other users easily. The same thing applies when copying multiple files iPhone to PC

3. Symbian

Symbian, an operating system developed by Symbian Ltd, which is designed to use mobile equipment (mobile). Phones that are circulating currently uses Symbian OS v6.1s, v7.0s, RV 47 45, v8.OS, and v9.1s. Nokia N-series average of Symbian OS v9.1s, except the Nokia N95 is using Symbian OS v9.2s.

Symbian advantages: compared with the previous version, symbian 3 now more finger friendly and responsive to input timely data. Some innovative new features is presented nokia symbian 3 system, such as Web TV, real multitasking, dual home screen, and USB OTG (USB On The Go). USB OTG provides Symbian smartphone users based BGI 3, for example Nokia N8 to directly access files stored on an external USB disk drive, USB Flash Drive (UFD), or other smartphone (if assigned as a storage medium).

Disadvantages: like symbian version, users who daily use this smartphone will definitely complain about the navigation menu is a little less cumbersome and sometimes difficult to understand (the name is too abbreviated menu). In addition, the guidelines when-navigate interface is also minimal. Well, this problem only occurs on the user's veteran (old) symbian. Performance standard browser and touch-screen keyboard is also one other shortcomings.

Compare 3 PC Operating System

1. Windows

Windows is an operating system operating system released by an American company called Microsoft. Windows is the operating systems most used by people and also very well known compared to other operating systems. I choose Windows as the operating system on my laptop, because the windows are easy to find and also when having problems, many people who can fix it. Although these windows can also be spelled expensive. Windows also has many advantages, including:

• User friendly compared to other operating systems

• Installing the software was easy compared to the installation on other operating systems

• Support for more drivers

• Many people use Windows so that many companies create applications using basic Windows. There are some applications that exist only in Windows OS and not in others.

• As already shared the system to be developed, it is increasingly easy for anyone to make the software run on Microsoft Windows. Especially businesses that require applications that meet their individual needs.

• The most rapid development than other software because many software companies that consistently make progress on the Windows operating system.

• If there is a problem easy to solve because almost anyone can, and experts are also not hard to find around us.

In addition to excess, windows also has disavantages:
• The price of expensive licenses

• The community is too little, because it is closed-source

• The number of viruses that often attack Windows

• The security system is still arguably less

• The system is less stable

• Many people know the language and many people wear that programming so many who make viruses for Windows than the other

• There are many versions, so if you want a powerful need to pay more expensive.

2. Mac OS
Mac OS stands for Macintosh Operating System. Mac OS is a computer operating system created by Apple for Mac computers and is compatible with IBM-based PC. Mac operating system is the operating system in use to operate a computer notebook apple macintosh. Mac OS is the first operating system that uses a Graphical User Interface - GUI. Advantages of the Mac OS include:

1). Mac OS is not susceptible to the virus.
Designed with security oriented, Mac OS is not plagued by constant attacks from PC viruses and malware. But neither will slow you down with constant security alerts and other interruptions.

2). High Performance.
Especially on Mac OS X - with the latest Intel processors and other innovations, the Mac can do all things that only Macs can do - with amazing speed.

3). User-friendly
GUI with a very attractive appearance, making the Mac OS as one of the OS are in great demand especially by graphic designers and for those just learning the computer

Of course Mac OS also has its disadvantages, that are:
1). Mac can not be assembled because Apple is not giving license to other companies to make hardware that can use the Mac OS

2). Software on the Mac OS is not so complete
Influence the dominance of Microsoft Windows for years have been very familiar to users and are reluctant to adapt to the new OS. The same rationale is also the reason for the abundance of recent applications to the Windows system requirements.

3). Cost is Expensive

4). Only useful for graphic designers

5). Can not be used in conjunction

6). The software is incomplete and not suitable to play the game because it looks less good

3. Linux
Linux is open source software operating system which is free for distributed under GNU license. so you are allowed to install on your computer or copy and redistribute it without paying. Linux is a derivative of unix and can work on a wide range of computer hardware ranging from x86 to RISC inter. With the GNU (Gnu Not Unix) you can get the program, complete with its source code. Not only that, you are given the right to copy as much as you want, or even change the source code. And it's all legal under license. Although free, GNU license allows a party who wants to charge for copying and sending programs.

Advantages of linux are:
• Linux is free and open operating systems. So that it can be said, there are no licensing fees to buy or use Linux.

• Linux is easy to use.

• Nearly all applications included in Windows, there has been an alternative in Linux.

• Security is superior to Windows. Linux was designed from the start multi-user, which is when a virus infects a specific user, it will be very very difficult to infect and spread to other users.

• Linux is relatively stable.

• Linux has backwards compatibility better.

Deficiency is the process of installing linux software / application that is not as easy as in Windows. Installation of software on Linux, it will become easier when connecting to the Internet or when having a CD / DVD repository it. If not, then we have to download one by one package and its dependencies needed it.
